The Japanese Association for the Promotion of State-of-the-Art in Medicine (JAPSAM) aims to construct an advanced healthcare system and to establish the International Center for State-of-the-Art in Medicine (tentative) by providing research and development support, clinical trial support, and community education services.
For the purpose of establishing the International Center for State-of -the-Art in Medicine (tentative), we sponsor lectures and forums. One of the major goals of the International Center is to engage in research and development and is based on our plan of providing cutting-edge services to patients. By collaborating with hospitals, research facilities, universities, and corporations, our goal is to become the leading international center for state-of-the-art medicine in biotechnology and robotics.
Specific activities of the JAPSAM have included holding educational activities, establishing the JAPSAM prize and medical ventures with seed funding, supporting clinical trials and technological development, and collaborating with universities and research institutions. We have received wide support since our inception in 2003.
In promoting state-of-the-art medicine, there are institutional difficulties and risks. We are focused on providing safe, efficient, quality patient care and state-of-the-art technologies for those who are suffering from incurable diseases. |
